Our History
Jill Sabataso Michel, the owner of the Vermonti Cannoli, was planning to start this business when she was a co-owner and chef at Dinner by Jill & Julie Italian Cuisine. Establishing a solid cannoli enterprise took a lot of dedication, which brings amazing popularity to her cannoli.
About Our Chef
Jill Sabataso Michel
Jill has a special, reverent attitude toward her cannoli which is a characteristic of experienced pastry chefs. For Jill, her cannoli products are not just desserts, they are works of art.
Jill studied at Champlain College with a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management. She is a fourth-generation of The Palms Restaurant established in 1933 in Rutland, Vermont. Jill moved to Sarasota, Florida to be closer to her two children, John and Julia. She brought the talent of her fabulous cannoli to the Sunshine State.
Jill is focused on the quality of the dessert as well as its presentation. She selects ingredients with special care. Exceptional creativity and dedication to her work results in a great level of client satisfaction.
